MARATHONS AND CHARITY RUNS

PTC is very proud to be associated with Get Kids Going!, the charity that raises money to provide disabled children with the opportunity to participate in sport and Marie Curie which is dedicated to the care of people affected by cancer and the enhancement of their quality of life, through its caring services, cancer research and education. Also with The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity providing practical and emotional support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. They support 1,000 families each year.

The major source of fundraising for charities is through mass participation in the major marathons and ½ marathons and events around the world. In the year 2000 Get Kids Going! took a team of 450 runners to the New York marathon, the biggest charity team ever assembled to run in a marathon.

We here at PTC provide the advice and support that everyone running for the above charities needs in order to train for and complete a marathon or cycle event. We are sometimes present at the London, Paris and New York marathons to cheer, support, provide assistance and even participate on occassion.

If you would like more information on Get Kids Going! Marie Curie and The Rainbow Trust and how to sign up to run a marathon for the charity then simply click on the logos above.

If you are already running for one of them and would like some training advice then you have come to the right place. Either use the menu on the left hand side of this page, or email d.butler@londonfitness.co.uk

Good luck with the training and a big thank you from all the team at PTC.
